EJC Communication

The Edmonton Jeep Community 4X4 Club is registered as an Alberta Society (reg# 5013238414) for the purposes of recreation of the members and to promote and afford the opportunity for friendly and social activities. In addition to holding 4x4 related events and activities for members, EJC maintains a private website forum for it's membership and a public website forum for the community.

As with all clubs registered as a Alberta society, EJC is obligated to operate consistent with approved bylaws and provide certain reporting to the government. On Dec 21st it was discovered that although the club is current in its provincial reporting, it may have missed some federal reporting.

The EJC website was frozen and taken offline (temporarily) on Dec 31 in order to preserve the information on membership, club activities, and in order to research the outstanding compliance concerns and to ensure all required information is available as needed. This will facilitate any outstanding reporting obligations that may exist.

The club is still in operation and the website will be reactivated as soon as possible in order to communicate with EJC membership.

EJC past directors are privately working with members of the 2011 elected directors to resolve this matter as professionally as possible.
